Hi everyone, I have attached a couple of videos of orangutans that were taken in the forest a few days ago. Myself and Ari were firing ropes high up into the trees to hang butterfly traps in the canopy, and a young male orangutan heard rustling in the trees and came over to investigate. He was very curious and cheeky, and followed us for about two hours as we set up our traps. We made no effort to interact with him, but he would often come down low in the trees to look at us, or would jump about and throw branches at us.

The attached videos show him grabbing hold of one of our ropes and throwing branches at Ari, and then later rushing over to look at us, taking a pee, and making a big commotion in the tree.
