Participants from the Linking Great Ape Conservation and Poverty Alleviation: Sharing Experience from Africa and Asia held at CIFOR, the Centre for International Forestry Research, in Bogor visited the forest yesterday. They got a good taste of the swamp and the rainy season as the heavens opened while we were in the speed boat traveling on the Sabangau River.
